Ahoy matey!

Up until today, the pirates have had some help moving forward with engines. Now we are riding the wind like proper scallywags. A few brave souls were hoisted up the ’stagen‘ (german for the front wire that holds the mast) to search for ships to plunder and then grease the lines on the way down.

The less hearty were taught the ropes, literally. One of them is großstengestagsegelniederholer, which is our parrot Polly´s new favorite word. The lads have been avoiding scurvy since we eat fruit with breakfast every morning. After breakfast we swab the deck… would tell you more about the voyage but we cant disclose all the private pirate business.
