We woke up at 0330 to start our watch, we were told it was windy and it might rain, it rained our whole watch. Even though it was rainy it was fun. We learnt some more safety, specifically the man overboard procedure. Once we got close to the waypoint we had to gybe. We put up the Royales, Außenklüver and the Bram-stagsegel. Finnja looked like Paddington Bear with her raincoat.
We then had lunch which was Kartoffelauflauf which was nice. We then went and enjoyed the sunshine with our friends, we decided to anchor in the evening (this did not happen). Then it was cinnamon buns and coffee that was the highlight of the afternoon. We took all the sails down to prepare to anchor but it did not end up working out so we continued to motor on. Finland has lots of small islands so it is a narrow passage.
Greetings go out to all the Geo-Danes, Shaking Swedes, Islewood-Gnomes and the Knights of the Broken Radish.
