„Sag mal was“ „Was?“ „Deine Hose ist nass“. These words were used to describe the way I ended up today. But how did this situation occur?

This morning everyone who wanted to go on a trip went with the bus to a caldera. The activity: Canoeing!!! But before we left our stuff behind to go into the canoes we needed some energy. Which is why the rolls of cream cheese were unpacked and held up by our teacher Nik, visibly getting his hands dirty.

The caldera was really stunning, despite the bad weather.

As you know our boys they first tried to crush in each other’s canoes in the middle of the lake. But when this fun was over most of us paddled through a bridge. But not my canoe. Because it was a bigger one we wouldn’t have fit underneath. So we (Olivia, Levi, Linn and me) had a another plan…

There was a small island which we found really interesting so we decided to take a short trip there. Levi stayed in the boat so it wouldn‘t drive away and we three girls climbed out of it. It was real fun to run around a little, before we went back. Because there were other people who came out of nowhere! Ahhhhh! So we jumped right up and sprinted back. But here is the thing: I didn’t make it back into the canoe 😳😱.

I was just about to put a leg in it when I slipped and slit into a crack between some rocks in the water. From one second to another I was suddenly just gone. Well, at least the situation caused a lot of laughter. That made the whole tragedy less bad. But the thing is the last time Olivia and I went on a mission it didn’t go well for me either.
We were at the Bri Bris in Costa Rica and walked around a little. At six o’clock in the morning. Well, I completely sunk into the mud with one leg and Olivia had to pull me out with hands and feet because there was no one to be seen who could have helped.

That’s why it was especially funny for both of us, well more for her. Back in the canoe she then brought up the popular saying: „Sag mal was“ After which, of course, I said laughing, „Was?“ and she replied with an even bigger laugh on her face „Deine Hose ist nass“. Usually we only use the saying for fun, but in this case it was really fitting.

Because I was already wet, I decided to join a smaller group afterwards and we went to hot springs, which were just breathtaking. Vulcan stone everywhere and of course our loved ocean.

The stones had two large holes out of which the vapour that protruded: the hot springs. And we were in the intermediate field where the sea with the cold water met the hot water of the springs. It was so cool because every time a wave came the temperature suddenly changed.

This experience rounded off the day and at the same time showed us how exciting and brilliant nature can actually be.

But with this adventure the day did not end.
And that’s because we had to walk all the way back to the bus station (only uphill). We were so tired that at one point we even laid down in the middle of the road because we had no power left.
But in the end we still made it to the bus stop in time because we found a new motivation: annoying Technik to just order a taxi. In addition, for fun, we stretched our thumbs out at every passing vehicle, although of course we did not plan to tramp. And with a last „Laola Welle“ we jumped into the bus and went back home.
