For five months I’ve been waiting for this day. I kept hiding and hiding. When your trying to hide this ship gets really, really small. Especially for a bunny like me. I tried to never be seen, which was especially hard because someone is awake every second of the day. So I searched for the best hiding spots, but not for the eggs but for me. Especially in the dry hold. Between flour and noodles I tried to never be seen. Then I switched my hiding spots all over the ship but I never had the time to properly look at the ship and search for the best hiding spots. So I knew when the day was finally there I had to be quick and find the best hiding spots. Finally today was the day: This night I could finally show, that I’ve been on board.
But how could I, a ittle bunny do that?
I decided I’d need help: The new baker of the ship, Anton, would be my first helper. Preparing yeast braids and little yeast-dough bunnies for breakfast, he saved me a lot of time, so I had enough time to come up with the most adventurous hiding places for the Easter eggs. But the Easter eggs were not easy to make. Especially for the amount of people we have here. So I asked my two other little helpers: Joshua and Lotti helped me organize an Egg painting workshop for everyone to make eggs for the upcoming day. Thanks a lot for that.
But today was finally the day or for me night. Late after the Muesli Party I got up and started hiding the eggs. Have you ever tried to hide 150 different Easter eggs on a Ship? It is near to impossible because I wanted everyone to search for their eggs and not just find them at plain sight.I had to be especially careful, when the outlook came down to look for fire. I had to hop into different Chambers to not be spotted.
After the breakfast the big search started. I hid 3 chocolate eggs per person all over the ship and everyone had to search for them. And they did. Everyone searched and searched and searched and were lucky enough to find the eggs destined for them. If it wasn’t for Easter this day would be one of the most normal days on the entire voyage just sailing and nothing special but today was not like any other day. Especially not for me as the Easter lover that I am.
