Set sail with us and discover new horizons! The brig ROALD AMUNDSEN, with over 415,000 nautical miles under her belt, will take you on a journey full of wanderlust and the spirit of discovery. Whether sailing on the waves of the North and Baltic Seas, crossing the Atlantic, under the Caribbean sun, along the coasts of Iceland, Brazil or the Great Lakes in the USA – every route is a unique experience. Everyone is welcome on board, whether beginner or experienced sailor, whether alone, as a group or school class: the only thing that counts here is the desire to experience something new and be part of the crew.
Reduced voyage fee: for young people up to the age of 18 as well as students and trainees up to the age of 30 (proof required).

Intermediate ports are optional – sailing ships are wind-dependent. Wind and weather conditions as well as other circumstances can force a decision for a different route. Some turbulence on land extends out to sea – this can also result in changes. Prices include accommodation, meals, harbor fees and every ship related fee. We organize your sailing trip, you organize your journey between home and port. We add the membership fee for one year in our association to your travel costs – everyone on board is a member, because everyone on board is part of the crew.
Permanent Crew: If a voyage is marked as fully booked in the schedule, this only applies to trainee spots. We, as the permanent crew, keep ourselves informed via the Permanent Crew Roster about the current need for permanent crew members.
